What is this thing?

Streaming Israel is a site full of short videos taken with a smart phone and qik in Israel. It's an exploration of things that are perfectly ordinary in Israel. What do the cities really look like here? What is the traffic like on Jabotinsky street in Petach Tikvah at 9 in the morning? What are people doing at the park at 8pm on a Friday? Some of the videos will highlight what it's like to be an immigrant in this country. The frustrations of bureaucracy and language barriers. Some of the videos will highlight peculiarities in Israeli culture. Some videos will be interviews with ordinary people in the Israeli landscape. For now, at least, the videos will all be raw footage, just as they come off the phone and without any editing at all. At some point in the future I may add some videos with editing, subtitles and music. Any edited videos will be both obviously edited and tagged as such. Streaming Israel will you the chance to see for yourself what other bloggers are writing about.
